Methasoft will accurately measure doses of opiate liquid by use of an integrated pump, and will dispense, and label where appropriate both supervised and takeaway doses of medication including (Subutex & Suboxone tabs). The system automatically keeps records of all medication dispensed, including the capture of data into the Dangerous Drug Register. Methasoft includes a digital camera and biometric fingerprint reader for assisting in identification of patients.

The Methasoft™ system is developed by Netalytics LLC, Greenville, Carolina, US, and has been fully tested and Australianised by Methasoft Australia Pty Ltd. The Methasoft product is currently used in a significant percentage of clinics across the USA & is used by Lloyds Pharmacy Group & HM Prisons in the UK.
